administering the entire EDI program for you. All communication is via email. No
EDI specific software or hardware is required.
ACT will receive your orders (850) through our EDI mailbox, return
acknowledgements to the trade partner, convert the data into a readable format
and email a purchase order report to you. We provide summaries and, if required,
individual pick tickets. You may also request customized reports for other
documents such as the 830.
ACT will generate EDI
invoices (810) and transmit the data back to your customer. You will provide us
with your invoice information via paper or email, or ACT can assign the invoice
numbers. In either case we will provide you with an invoice summary report
indicating all activity. ACT also sends the Advance Ship Notice (856). The
UCC128 barcode labels are either emailed to your destination of choice or ACT
can print and deliver them to you. We will monitor the functional
acknowledgements to assure receipt at the customer. Pricing is on a per purchase
order basis, which varies by customer and volume.
