Lately many 3PLs are looking for ACT’s electronic data interchange (EDI) expertise and logistics experience to make sure the data is moved as accurately as the goods.

There are many advantages to partnering with a professional EDI outsourcing service. Of course, the main benefit is that the customer receives the best of both worlds; professional handling of their goods and professional EDI Internet handling of their data. 

Every single partnership of this type is unique and requires customized or tailored services from ACT. We develop interfaces to your unique requirements. 

Typically, ACT generates and sends the Sales Order file in a format downloadable into your WMS. We also generate and email the UCC128 carton/pallet labels to be printed on a laser or thermal printer and affixed to the container.

Scan Verification and Document Building (optional)

Additionally, some of our clients wish to scan items into carton or cartons onto shipments. Through its EDI services, ACT provides the scan file and awaits either an Error file or a Confirmations file message to return. You provide the Carrier, PRO#, Ship date, and BOL#, and ACT sends the ASN and Invoice completing the orders lifecycle.
